The top connections drive the winding spindles beneath the body. Deflection rods guide the cutting-line path between the drums.
The U bit is a spindle stopper
The straight Bison Bit provides the drive connection. The U-shaped bit has a different job: it acts as a stopper for the Bison spindle.
