The 4M drive, vacuum & anchoring

Male-hex spindle

The 4M drive projects from the winding housing as a male-hex spindle. It replaces the recessed female connection of the earlier Spider 4.

Manual pump access

The 4M frame leaves room around the manual pump plunger. The SP3 pump establishes vacuum at the 6-inch suction pad.

Door striker notch

The notch in the 4M frame provides an anchoring option for quarter-glass removal.
